I'm currently in an Internet cafe close to my work. In here are myself, a quite girl looking to print out a few things and a man and a woman who seem to insist that typing means slamming your index finger from two feet above the key board on each individual key, with approximately five second gaps between each digital key assault.
Now that the environment has been created I'd like to tell you about my past week. Very uneventful. Just chilled really, which was quite nice. I actually worked 12 days straight and didn't notice until day 11, when panic set in. It probably wouldn't have even mattered had I not noticed, but as soon as I did it was like nothing could go right at work. The usual Starbucks treat. Anyways I enjoyed a lovely Sunday off and am back to work, however I have the delight of having sat-Tuesday off this week and plan to take full advantage.
We got our new room mates on Sunday as well. So far so good. WE actually ended up coming into the flat to meet for the first time with a 24 pack of beer on one shoulder so that's a good first impression I think.
Tuesday night is student night at the pubs here so even though neither Britt or I are students we will be taking full advantage of that.
(key slammer 5000 has now started sighing uncontrollably as he has let his lady friend be in control of the keyboard- he actually just walked out).
Oh another nice tid-bit for you. The papers are running a story about a 15 year old girl who just had a baby and the father is a 13 year old boy- yucky times 3 million. Twist in the story- two other 15 year old boys have now stepped forward claiming they believe they are the father- its like some reverse version of the Maury show on H-G-H. It really lifts my spirits on the way to work- that and the sudoku puzzles obviously.
messages to pass on:
*really great comments family
*dad when you talked about "the hand shake" I laughed for sooo long
*really enjoy the Heather/mom comments
*a man yelled at me in Starbucks today because there is a light burnt out (that has been burnt out for as long as I've worked there including times hes come in before) saying that its my fault he can't read his paper: Prick-asourus- rex.

Cluny is also a fan of the single finger typing. I just thought I'd let you know that her and Sandi just got back from a weekend lover's getaway together - with Melinda (who obviously felt like a 3rd wheel).
I feel bad for the child of the 13/15/15/15 year old parents - yikes.
Nice work on the 12 days in a row.
More info on these roommates wanted.
Rachel You didn't tell us about the quiz???? You should see the speed I'm typing at fingers flying everywhere but light as a feather. I must or risk heather taking over and not telling the whole story. Oh as a matter of fact I think she just stomped out. LOL LOL
I agree with freya more info needed on the roomies....Love you Mom
margy made that up.
shet bag.

ps i did a lot of whisper-yelling in vancouver on my romantic getaway
Ya whats the "quiz"?
What you can't tell from your older sisters comments is she is in a "chode" phase. Thats right everyone is some derivative of a chode.
This was typed with 6 fingers at the rate of 40wpm.
